Heřminovy, Zátor - Relocation of Road I/4
Jurák, Miroslav ; Novák, Martin (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create and evaluate four design options relocation of the existing road of Nove Herminovy - Zator and select better design relocation road then Reditelstvi silnic a dalnic of Czech Republic. Their design option is one of the evaluating options. The reason for the relocation is the construction of water reservoir Nove Herminovy and the flooding of existing road.
Analysis of saccharides and markers of wood combustion in atmospheric aerosols
Kubátková, Nela ; Mravcová, Ludmila (referee) ; Mikuška,, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of saccharides and markers of biomass and wood combustion in atmospheric aerosol, PM2,5. Theoretic part is focused on general characterisation of atmospheric aerosols and on the properties, sources and analysis methods of selected analysed organic compounds. The experimental part is focused on the optimization of method for simultaneous analysis of saccharides and tracers from biomass and wood combustion. Optimization of method includes selection of solvent for the extraction of compounds and optimization of derivatization process and GC/MS analysis. The optimized method was then applied for the analysis of selected compounds in real aerosol samples in the size fraction PM2.5. The concentrations of analysed compounds were compared in term of sampling seasons.
Synthesis and study of fluorinated organic materials for electronic and optoelectronic applications
Halaksa, Roman ; Pospíšilík, Karel (referee) ; Krajčovič, Jozef (advisor)
This essay deals with polyfluorinated aromatic compounds, as a strong electronacceptor units and with its incorporation into advanced monomeric and oligomeric systems. It deals with theoretical aspects of structure of mentioned building units, which shove, that it could be really progressive. Also examples of so far synthesized molecules, that can be found in literature, are included. The second part of essay deals with synthesis of main intermediates via Kumada cross-coupling and with synthesis of tetrafluorophenylene bridged thiophene trimmers via Stille cross-coupling.
Parametric study of road communications
Píštěk, Petr ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is a parametric study of a road Uherský Ostroh - Hluk. Both vilages are situated in Zlin region. It is situated 28km southern from city Zlin. The goal of study is adopt work with projection software and comparison different categories of road in the same maps background. There are designed 3 categories S7,5; S9,5; S11,5. Variants are led across the agriculture area. Each variant include old and new road.
Structure and fatigue properties of selected titanium alloy
Prudíková, Alena ; Kohout, Jan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
Main topic of the thesis was to evaluate fatigue properties of the titanium alloy Ti-A13-V2,5, labelled by ASTM as Grade 9. Most attention was focused on fatigue behaviour of the alloy in the range of high cycle fatigue. Fatigue testing was realised to detect the fatigue properties and consequently to generate the Wöhler curve and the Haigh diagram. In addition to this, tension and bending tests were performed. Metallographic and fractographic analyses of fatigue fracture form part of the overview about material properties, which was accomplished by use of REM. Experimental part of the thesis was backed by the literature research. The first half of it contains a short summary of basic information about the titanium and its alloys, so as some chapters about the history and properties of titanium, the way of its production, classification of titanium alloys and its thermic treatment. The fatigue is thoroughly scrutinised in the second half of the background research. Here can also be found the information about the fatigue process, its stages, the fatigue life and the most significant attributes of the fatigue fracture. The last chapters of the thesis are dedicated to the alloy Ti-A13-V2,5 - being examined in the experimental part - so as to its fatigue properties. The main benefit of this thesis is the completion of the missing information concerning the fatigue behaviour of the alloy, which is – according to the literature research - generally not available.
The Environmental and Health Burden of Transport and the Possibility of its Reduction in Particular Conditions
Dvořáková, Dita ; Popelová, Barbora (referee) ; Skeřil, Robert (advisor)
Air quality is affected by many factors, one of the most important is transport, especially road transport. In this thesis, the transport intensity is compared with number/concentrations of particulate matter in the air. The evaluation is carried out for days, weeks and months, analyses are focused mainly on Brno. In addition, the particulate matter concentrations are analysed depending on meteorological conditions (temperature). The conclusion is focused on the possible measures which can reduce the impact of transport on air pollution.
Detekce variability rDNA u rostlin
Menšíková, Simona
The ITS1-5,8S-ITS2 sequence region of ribosomal DNA represents one of the most popular molecular marker in phylogenetics. However, detailed analyses of 5,8S rDNA are scarce and most of them deal with the complete region including the internal transcribed spacers ITS. In this thesis, 5,8S rDNA sequences were subjected to bioinformatic analysis to compare the variability of ribosomal genes in monocot and eudicot plants. The analyzed sequence data of the regions ITS1-5,8S rDNA-ITS2 were obtained by an experimental approach from isolated DNA and by searching in nucleic acid databases. The variability was assessed in total 114 sequences for each group. Multiple sequence alignments were used to identify conserved regions and to quantify gene mutations. Higher heterogeneity was detected in the 5,8S rDNA sequences of the eudicot group, but no statistically significant difference in the representation of variable sites (15,2 % and 19,3 %) or in the total number of mutations was confirmed. Manual pseudogene detection, based on plant conserved 5,8S rDNA motifs search, sequence length, content of GC and in silico secondary structure prediction, revealed a total of 12 potentially non-functional copies of the 5,8S rDNA gene.
Monitoring the living environment in the house
Dlugoš, Daniel ; Ježek, Michal (referee) ; Staněk, Kamil (advisor)
This work, tries to create a small, rechargeable and portable device that senses temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dust particles, carbon dioxide and VOC concentration. The air quality monitor can reliably measure the physical quantities encountered in every indoor environment, evaluate them and display them to the user. The sensors, data storage module and OLED display are housed on a custom-made PCB board.
Contribution of particular vasoactive systems in the development of chronic kidney disease
Drábková, Natálie ; Vaněčková, Ivana (advisor) ; Vaňourková, Zdeňka (referee)
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a life-threating disease which arises as a frequent consequence of diabetes and hypertension. Since it is going on silently, CKD often progresses to the end-stage renal disease. It is therefore necessary to combat this disease especially due to the fact that the world population is growing old. The aim of this work was to determine the contribution of selected vasoactive systems contributing to the maintenance of high blood pressure in the developmental and established phase of CKD. Two models of CKD were used: 5/6 nephrectomy in Ren-2 transgenic rats (TGR) and stenosis of renal artery (2K1C) in Wistar rats. We demonstrated that renin-angiotensin system does not play so important role in blood pressure maintenance in both CKD models. By contrast, a more important role has sympathetic nervous system. During both the developmental and established phase of CKD, vasoconstrictor systems prevail above vasodilator NO-synthase effects. In fact, the role of NO-dependent vasodilation gradually decreased in nephrectomized TGR rats, while it was unchanged in Wistar rats with 2K1C hypertension.
